Q: What is the difference between sole and dual Management Control?
A: Sole Management Control means that only one Primary User is required to authorise Management Control maintenance, even if for some companies, there may be two Primary Users. For dual Management Control, maintenance must be authorised jointly by two Primary Users.

Q: What should be done in a new Management Control setup?
A: The following table shows the maintenance required, by Primary User(s), in the new set up:

Subject Remarks Maintenance Required
Portfolio Daily Limits The limits are determined by the company
Only if you want to reduce them. However, you may take note of the exact limits determined.
For increasing the limits, company resolution is required.
Authorisation Settings In case Sole Authorisation for transactions is applied
The default setting for authorisation is Sole.
In case Dual Authorisation for transactions is applied
You need to determine how many Signing Groups should be operative for your company. Only 2 groups are supported, e.g. Group A may sign for a larger amount whereas Group B may sign for a smaller amount.
You also need to determine how the Authorisation Matrix should work, i.e. defining transaction limits up to which one person of a group (i.e. either A or B) may sign or two persons from either or both groups (i.e. A+A, B+B or A+B) may sign.
User Profile Secondary Users setup
Identify the users that you will allow them to operate online.
For Management Control Administrator, who may help in preparing maintenances (including maintenances to Portfolio Daily Limits, Authorisation Settings, User Profile, MPF Services Settings) in future, 'Management Control maintenance' function should be assigned on top of other services.
For all other users, assign to them the accessible services, accounts and User Daily Limits to related accounts as appropriate.
MPF Services Settings Specific MPF Services setup
Assign to users the specific MPF Services and Transaction Limit as appropriate.
