Q: What are key features for new version AutoPayment?
A: The new version AutoPayment supports below features
- Support "same day" value date
- Support value date on Monday to Sunday (including Public Holiday)
- Support payment to Mobile Number, Email Address and FPS ID
   
Q: Do I need to obtain payees’ proxy ID (e.g. mobile number) for payroll?
A: No. You can still use account number for fund transfer even if payees don’t register for any Proxy ID. Mobile number, email address and FPS ID are just alternative options.
   
Q: If I submit AutoPayment with current date as the value date, when will it be processed and debited?
A: Your AutoPayment will be processed and debited within the same day.
   
Q: Why can't I submit same day AutoPayment on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays?
A: For Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays value date AutoPayment, you can only submit them on or before Friday cut off time.
   
Q: Is there any transaction limit for new version AutoPayment?
A: No. There is no transaction limit for new version AutoPayment.
   
Q: If Typhoon Signal Number 8 or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, is there any impact to my Autopayment?
A: No. Your Autopayment is processed as usual under Typhoon Signal Number 8 or Black Rainstorm Signal.
   
Q: Why do my Autopay reports look different from before?
A: New version Autopayment supports payment to proxy ID, so the report layout is changed to support this new feature.
   
Q: How much is the autopay service fee?
A: HKD 0.5 for autopay within HSBC group, HKD 1 for autopay to other local banks.
   
Q: What type of account can be used for Autopay?
A: Standalone saving account, standalone current account and integrated account.
   
Q: How many Autopay Payee Groups can be set up in Business e-Banking?
A: Maximum 150.
   
Q: What is the maximum number of payees in an Autopay Payee Group?
A: 200.


Q: Will 'Return Report' be generated if all transactions are successful processed?
A: No.


Q: How long can all transactions be considered as successful?
A: Two clearing day after value date.
