except RMB), Standalone Securities Account, Standalone Investment Fund Account and Commercial Card Account (applicable to e-statement for individual cardholders only) online. |

Only the Primary User(s) can view all
available e-Statements. Secondary User(s) with access right assigned
by Primary User(s) can also view e-Statements of selected accounts.
Primary User(s) can enable or disable each Secondary User(s)' "View
e-Statement" function under the "Management Control > User
Profile" section. |

Who can view e-Advices? |
A: |
Users with online access right to the
particular account(s) will be able to view the advices of those
accounts. |

How long will an e-Statement /
e-Advice be kept online? |
A: |
e-Statements for bank accounts and
e-Advices will be retained in the customer's Business e-Banking
profile for 7 years from the issuance date and 180 days from the
delivery date respectively. For Time Deposit Disposal Advice, a
maximum of 400 records per account can be viewed under e-Advices
in the Business e-Banking.
Investment e-Statements/e-Advice issued in the e-Statement/e-Advice service registration period will be retained in the customer's Business e-Banking profile for 7 years and 180 days from the delivery date respectively.
Commercial Card e-Statement issued in the e-Statement service registration period will be retained in the customer's Business e-Banking profile for 7 years.
All e-Statements / e-Advices will be deleted automatically after the retention period. Users are advised to print or download their e-Statement / e-Advice if they wish to keep a copy for company records.

Can the company request the Bank
to provide duplicate copies of an e-Statement/e-Advice which has been deleted
after the retention period? |

Yes. The company can request for a
statement copy through Business e-Banking (Customer Service >
Other Services > Request for Statement Copy) or by visiting any
of our branches. The service charge per copy per cycle is
HKD50. For investment e-Statement/e-Advice, the company can request a statement/advice copy by visiting any of our branches. Please refer to the prevailing bank tariff for the service charge. For Commercial Card e-Statement, the company can request a statement copy by visiting any of our branches. Please refer to the prevailing bank tariff for the service charge. |

Users can download the latest version
of Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website. |

latest Chinese Traditional Font Pack files from Adobe official

Will there be any reminder when an e-Statement/e-Advice has been issued? |
A: |
A free email notification will be sent to Primary users when new e-Statement/e-Advice has/have been issued for investment accounts and posted in Business e-Banking. Primary users are advised to keep an updated e-mail address (Please visit "Contact Information" page in the "Customer Services" section of Business e-Banking if primary users want to update their email address) with the Bank to ensure they can receive such e-mail reminder. Primary users should also check their designated e-mail regularly for such reminder.
For Commercial Card e-Statement, a free email notification will be sent to cardholders' e-mail address as maintained in the Bank's records on the issuance date of Commercial Card e-Statement. Please ensure cardholders' email address in our bank records is correct so that they can receive the statement ready notifications. |

Why did Primary users / cardholders receive none of the e-mail notification when new e-statements/advices have been posted in Business e-Banking? |
A: |
In general, the reasons why Primary users / cardholders have not received the e-mail notification are:
- Primary users / cardholders have provided an incorrect or invalid e-mail address;
- Primary users / cardholders e-mail box is full;
- The e-mail service provider treats the email notifications as spam mails;
- Telecommunications and/or e-mail service providers are experiencing unforeseen problems such as network delay or system failure.
Note: If an email notification for your company's investment accounts bounces back to our system, a hard copy notification letter will be sent to your company. Please remind primary users to clear the e-mail box regularly to create room for new e-mail and promptly update their e-mail address in our Bank's record to help ensure primary users can receive the e-mail notifications. |

What is Mobile e-Advice?

The "Mobile e-Advice" function enables you to view the designated advices of up to the past 180 days on your devices whenever and wherever. It also allows you to filter records and/or change the sort order according to your preferences. |

How to enable this function on the app?

For Primary Users, the e-Advice function will be available on the app once the e-Statement function is enabled on Business e-Banking via desktop. To enable the e-Statement function, Primary Users can go to "Maintain e-Statement" and select desired account(s) to receive e-Advice and e-Statement under "Receive e-Statement", then follow the instructions to submit such request(s). |

All e-Advices of Faster Payment, Local Interbank Transfer (CHATS), Remittance & Demand Draft (in PDF format) and Deposit are retained up to 180 days (from the date of delivery) while all e-Advices of Local Interbank Transfer (CHATS), Remittance & Demand Draft (in text-only format) and Trade are retained up to 30 days (from the date of delivery). |

Yes. The e-Advice function is available to both Primary Users and Secondary Users, who can view the records as long as Primary Users have enabled this function for them.
